Pleasant View, UT | Senior Portraits | Trevor

Up for a challenge could be Trevor’s middle name.  Since he was little,Trevor has always had an amazing amount of energy, and, from my observation, has always used that energy to challenge himself and help others.  Yes, this good looking young man is my nephew, and I’m so happy to take the opportunity to brag about him a little bit and possibly embarrass him:)

Trevor has such a great balance of being organized and also being willing to get dirty.  His room is always spotless, but his hands are often smudged with engine grease as he’s elbow deep in fixing, taking apart, putting together, or solving any sort of problem with a car, motorcycle, or anything that has parts.  He also has a heart of gold.  I remember him always helping around the house even when he was much younger.  He helps neighbors, family, and friends with their house and yard projects, and is ready to jump in when he’s needed.  I’ll never forget the time my car alarm wouldn’t go off… Trevor ran outside, opened up my hood, and disconnected the sound so I could drive home.  I was incredibly impressed he knew how to do that, and also so so relieved 🙂

Trevor is graduating from Weber High School.  He’s not only getting his high school diploma, but through taking a lot of AP and concurrent college classes, he also earned his Associates Degree from Weber State. He was the Skilled and Technical Sciences Sterling Scholar from his school, and also excelled in many other activities such as swimming, volleyball, and cross country during his high school years.

I was honored to take pictures of Trevor at Weber High School and the Wadman Nature Park in Pleasant View, Utah. True to form, Trevor invited his friend, Matt, to take pictures as well.  I had a blast with these two. They told me of their adventures climbing mountains and they made my job so much easier by making each other (and me) laugh and smile during the shoot:)  I absolutely loved how the pictures turned out- it would’ve been hard for them not to with such handsome young men:)

Trevor, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to take your senior pictures.  It truly was an honor. I can’t wait to see what amazing things you’re going to experience and do in this life.  Keep being the amazing you that you’ve always been.  Keep diving into life with confidence- shaking off any fears of failure, challenges, hard work, or getting dirty.  Keep facing life with that amazing smile and happy outlook of yours- with the loyalty, love, and generosity you’ve always had for friends and family.  You’re an inspiration to me and all those around you.  Congratulations and I wish you the very best!!
